Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) is a potent bioactive signaling molecule that regulates
many physiological processes important for development, epithelial and endothelial barrier
integrity, and the immune system, as well as for pathologies, such as autoimmune diseases,
cancer, and metastasis. Most of the well-known actions of S1P are mediated by five specific
